CUSTOMER DATA:

CRIME SMASHER VALUES CUSTOMER PRIVACY AND MAINTAINS STRICT PRIVACY STANDARDS TO PROTECT CUSTOMER CONFIDENTIALITY. Crime Smasher utilizes a multi-tiered security system to prevent unauthorized access by third parties. Our servers are located in a high security, state-of-the-art facility with 24 hour per day monitoring. The site uses SSL security to assure secure transactions.

THE CUSTOMER DATA WE STORE:

We store customer contact information including name, address, telephone number and email address in our customer database. Crime Smasher does not store customer credit card information. We also store a record of searches run by each customer and may store the search results.

Customer service email requests are stored indefinitely. This information is not reviewable or editable once submitted and cannot be deleted by the sender. In this case, the consumers name and email address are stored as part of a received email. We do not spam, trade or sell email addresses used in correspondence to us.

Crime Smasher discloses that customer’s IP address or other identifying information, such as Internet provider name, will be logged and stored as record of customer’s use of service. Further, we may utilize first or third party cookies to track customers use of our service.

Existing customers may view, edit or delete their personal information on file at any time by logging into their account. However, older versions of the information may be stored internally as a customer service record by Skip Smasher Inc. and cannot be viewed, edited or deleted by the customer. Searches previously run cannot be deleted.

HOW WE USE THE CUSTOMER DATA WE STORE:

We use your information to manage your account, assure site and account security and to create a better user experience for you.

Crime Smasher does not share customer information with any third parties except for trusted vendors, such as our credit card processor. However, we reserve the right to share information with any other person or entity to protect ours or others rights, property, or safety such as for investigation of fraudulent use of this service. Crime Smasher from time to time may send service and product updates to our existing customers. We do not share or sell customer information for marketing or advertising purposes.

THE PUBLIC RECORD DATA WE SELL:

The data sold on Crime Smasher is derived from public record information. The data originates at various public agencies including courts, prisons/jails, police departments and similar government agencies. WE DO NOT HAVE THE POWER TO REMOVE OR AMEND THIS CORE DATA. IF YOU FEEL THERE IS ERRONEOUS INFORMATION ABOUT YOURSELF, YOU MUST CONTACT THE SOURCE PUBLIC AGENCY INVOLVED -- NOT US. If you are in possession of a court expungement order, please contact us for instructions on the process to make a record removal request at Crime Smasher.
